After the event – Care Show 2017
If there was one word to sum up our attendance at Care Show 2017 at the NEC in Birmingham, it would have to be…
With a capital B.
It was our first visit to this show and it will certainly not be our last. When the doors of the exhibition hall were thrown open on the morning of 10th October, two days of frenetic activity commenced.
The Insequa team were excited to be showcasing new products, alongside our existing services. We continue to provide the best tender writing services for social care companies in the UK, and we had a lot of visitors interested in this part of our work. We found that in today’s turbulent times in social care, organisations are looking for experienced guidance when it comes to optimising procurement opportunities. As the only specialists in social care tender writing in the UK, we have the broad knowledge base and wide sector experience that’s essential for writing compelling and persuasive tender responses. In the last two months we have been successful in over twenty tender bids – no losses. We’re at the top of our game and the keen interest in our bespoke tender writing services at Care Show 2017 suggests this is set to continue.
New software launch
As well as our tender writing services, there was great interest from visitors in our new CQC Management Software product, i-Benchmark. With all the changes being introduced to CQC inspection criteria and new compliance procedures in the pipeline, there were a lot of eye-balls on this game-changing product. i-Benchmark is an efficient system for managing all your compliance information in one place – it’s simple to use, and yet it delivers sophisticated reports on your company’s CQC compliance status at the touch of a button.The positive response we received about i-Benchmark gave the Insequa team useful insight into the current climate in social care ‘on the ground’ and helped us better understand the extent of the concerns and worry surrounding the changes. This useful intel is invaluable in shaping the services we provide, to ensure we deliver the best solutions to our social care partners.
Policies with promise
Our innovative care policies created a stir at the show. Available in a range of formats from the web-based Evidenced Understanding which really breaks the mould, to our Instructional Design policies that look and read so differently compared to any social care policies you’ve seen before – feedback was overwhelmingly positive.
An Inspector calls…
Finally, reaction to our new CQC Inspection Support Service was good. As with i-Benchmark, the changes in CQC inspection criteria were a key factor pulling people towards this new product. We’ve had some spectacular early results with this new service which looks set to be a winner for our clients.
So, will we be returning next year for Care Show 2018? Well if it’s half as good as Care Show 2017, we most certainly will. We returned to Insequa headquarters with a stack of excellent leads to chase up and the phone hasn’t stopped ringing since we got back. Under the new management of the fantastic Closer Still Media Team, (the power behind the excellent Health Plus Care) this show can only get bigger and better.
